The evolution of our band is quite simple, you see. We started out in 2000, i guess when we had our first practice. We were un-named and hardly resemble the band we are today. We were comprised of Bill on bass, Kevin on drums, Alex singing, Elliot Coleman on guitar, Jesse on trumpet, and Ben Shipe on trombone. Yay, ska!! NOT. That was short lived.

At the end of summer 2000, we had evolved into a 5 piece. Elliot and Ben left and we brought in our good buddy, Vince from a crappy metal band (who were actually pretty good, or so I heard). We got together in Kevin's backyard and called ourselves OMFAKOOAL. Don't ask. Some time later we ditched that and called ourslves HAG FARM. Again, don't ask. That lasted for a week when we came up with "Questionable Sushi." We played a few parties and a battle of the bands and recorded a horrible demo tape that went nowhere. By summer 2001, we were faced with Alex and Bill moving away.

Jesse had been learning guitar and practicing with Vince. With the band needing a bassist, Jesse picked up bass. It was Jesse, Vince, and Kevin in Kevin's basement. It took a few months to muster up a creative name but finally we settled on Dexter's Lab, because Kevin's house is on Dexter Ave. Pretty corny, huh?

Vince met a dude named Nunu in guitar class and introduced him to all of us. He now plays guitar with us. We've also inducted Paul Joyner into the band. He plays guitar and keyboards for us. We are currently practicing, looking for shows to play, and breaking things.
